The Gorilla best trekking time  of the year in Uganda  is June, July, August, September,  January and February are also relatively good months for the gorilla trekking activity.  However, the skies are clear throughout the year supporting safari vacations.

Uganda lies at the Equator. This has enabled the country to have a favorable climate. Lake Victoria also contributes to the unique climate in the country and this has attracted tourists from all over the world throughout the year.

The dry season usually starts from December to February and June to August whereas the rainy season starts from September to November and mid-March to the end of May.

When it comes to the rainy season in Uganda, it doesn’t mean that travel appointments can be canceled. This is because the sunshine comes up as soon as it stops raining and most safari activities are done without hindrances including the Mountain Gorilla trekking.

The months of March and October to November are low seasons when it comes to Ugandan tourism, which is why most lodges try to reduce their rates as a way of attracting more tourists to book their safaris in this season the gorilla permits are also reduced to attract more tourists in the country.

However, it is important to choose the most favorable gorilla trekking conditions despite the low rate offered in the low season so that you have a comfortable and exciting time on this activity you have embarked on. The most favorable season is the dry one that runs from December to February, and from June to September.
