This 3 Days Maasai Mara Safari takes you to one of Africa’s most famous and important wildlife conservation areas. Located in southwestern Kenya, it is contiguous with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, forming a critical part of the Greater Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem. Covering approximately 1,510 square kilometers (580 square miles), the Maasai Mara is renowned for its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Maasai Mara for Afternoon Game Drive
Pickup from Your lodge/ airport and drive to Maasai Mara National Park. You can also choose to catch a flight to Maasai Mara (there are several daily flights from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, to Maasai Mara airstrips). After checking into the park, you will transfer your lodge or camp for lunch and Afternoon: Game Drive.
After lunch, Head out for an afternoon game drive. The Maasai Mara is famous for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Keep your camera ready to capture the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a sundowner experience in the bush, where you can watch the sunset over the savannah while enjoying drinks and snacks before Returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day- Exploring the Park- Game Drives
After an early breakfast, start your day with a sunrise game drive. Early mornings are the best time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs and the early grazers as they are more active before the heat of the day sets in. The game drives usually takes around 2-3 hours, you will then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and get ready for afternoon adventures.
After an early lunch, with some packed snacks., you will head out to Explore different parts of the reserve, including the Mara River, where you might witness the dramatic wildebeest crossings if you’re visiting during the Great Migration (July to October), This can be a fascinating and enriching experience. After a day of adventure, you will return to your lodge for relaxation and Enjoy dinner and spend some time around the campfire while stargazing at the dark skies.

Day 3: Cultural visit to Maasai Village and Depart Maasai Mara
Following an early breakfast, you will take an en-route morning game drive as you drive out of Maasai Mara this is your last chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed. Drive to Maasai Village for a Cultural visit to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. After the awesome experience, you will drive to Nairobi to End your Safari.
